Announcement: Plein Air Lagos and Artwyn’s 13th Anniversary Celebration!
Dear Art Lovers,
Artwyn is thrilled to announce the kickoff of Plein Air Lagos, a spectacular series of events celebrating our 13th anniversary! This special milestone is dedicated to our incredible community of artists, supporters, and art enthusiasts. We have curated an exciting lineup of activities, beginning with an engaging online contest, followed by a vibrant plein air activity day, and culminating in an exclusive exhibition showcasing the works of our top 13 artists of the year.
Online Contest: City Hues
September 1 – September 30, 2024
To mark the start of our anniversary celebrations, we invite artists from around the world to participate in our “City Hues” online contest. Capture the essence of Lagos through your unique perspective and share your work with our global community.
How to Participate:
- Create an original plein air artwork anywhere in the country and ensure you make a video.
- Share your entry on social media with the hashtag #PleinAirLagos2024.
The top 13 submissions will be featured on our website and social media, and winners will receive exclusive Artwyn merchandise and a chance to showcase their work in our upcoming exhibition.
Plein Air Activity Day: Connect and Create
October 15, 2024 | 10 AM – 4 PM
Join us for a day of creativity and connection at our Plein Air Activity Day! This event is an excellent opportunity for artists to come together, paint in the open air, and draw inspiration from Lagos’s vibrant surroundings. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a beginner, all are welcome to participate and share in the joy of creating art in the company of fellow enthusiasts.

- 10:00 AM: Welcome and Registration
- 10:30 AM: Plein Air Painting Sessions Begin
- 1:00 PM: Lunch Break and Networking
- 2:00 PM: Painting Sessions Continue

Anniversary Exhibition: Spotlight on Excellence

To crown our 13th anniversary celebrations, we are proud to present an exclusive exhibition featuring the works of our top 13 artists of the year. This curated showcase will highlight the diverse talents within our community, offering visitors a chance to appreciate and acquire some of the finest contemporary artworks made during the celebratory period.
